The Sandman: Preludes & Nocturnes Vol. 1 by Neil Gaiman; Illustrated by Sam Keith, Mike Dringenberg and Malcolm Jones III

The first graphic novel of The Sandman series by Neil Gaiman. I read the majority of it in a day. Today. I’m still not sure what I think of it.

The story was interesting. And creepy. And weird. Much like the retelling of Snow White, Snow, Glass, Apples was interesting, creepy and weird.

But I know this much: I was intrigued by the story. I will probably buy and read the rest of the series. And I am looking forward to the adaptation that I’ve heard is coming.
