I enjoyed this recipe. Truly. But it definitely wasn’t a faveourite. I’m not sure what was missing, I love all of the ingredients used, the only thing I wished I had of done was use more cheese than the half cup. I love a good cheesy dish. Maybe it’s because I don’t cook a lot with ground turkey, but I would like to use it more. I get tired of chicken and beef all the time.

I love using my cast iron pan, just wish it had of came with a lid. If you’re thinking of buying one, make sure it comes with a lid lol You can cover it with tin foil but it’s just not the same. The thing that I didn’t like about the recipe was that there was only a handful of cooking times included, and I like to have rough estimates of times. If you find that the sweet potatoes aren’t cooking and the ground turkey is sticking to the bottom of the skillet, do add some water, I used half a glass (my measuring cups were dirty, sorry), and it helped with the sticking.
