Yesterday was my day off, and while it was generally a lazy day, and we had leftovers for dinner, I did end up prepping a pork roast for today’s dinner.
It was easy to make this recipe. All I had to do for prep was put the roast in the crock and mix up the sauce. Quick and simple.
I cooked it on low for 10 hours as per the recipe. It cooked through no problem and fell apart as I took it out of the crockpot so this is the best picture of it I got.
I enjoyed the taste of the pork roast, but the flavoring was only on the outside of the meat. The outside meat was moist and tasty, but the inside was a bit dry. I’m not sure if it was because it cooked too long or if that’s just the way pork roast is, but I will try this recipe again for a shorter time and maybe on a higher heat. A nice light gravy or applesauce would go well with this pork roast.
