Don’t judge this recipe based on the pictures!!! This bbq pulled pork is absolutely devine! I’ve made it quite a few times and it is always tender and delicious.
I used a pork shoulder, prepped it this morning. The recipe only called for a teaspoon of paprika and pepper, and a tablespoon of salt, but I scanned it quickly and thought it was a tablespoon of each. Needless to say, I think it turned out for the best.
So I seasoned it, poured on the marinade, and cooked it on low for 8 hours. Now I like to eat my bbq pulled pork as a sandwich, and I’m fussy about the buns that I eat, so I get the little dinner rolls. They’re never dry or too much bread, in my opinion. Below is a picture of my sandwiches, one without any coleslaw on it yet so that you can see what the meat and bun looks like.
Slow Cooker BBQ Pulled Pork recipe from Pinterest of course.
I didn’t follow a recipe for the coleslaw, I just made it up as I went along. I grated half a purple cabbage, half a napa cabbage, and two carrots. I just used simple coleslaw dressing from the store, and mixed.
