I made this simple recipe today with only a few basic modifications. I used tomato sauce instead of marinara, a can of whole tomatoes instead of diced regular tomatoes, and skipped the zucchini, simply because I didn’t have any of these ingredients on hand.
Throughout the day as this was cooking in the slow cooker, it not only smelt delicious, but also smelt kind of like a spaghetti sauce. So I decided to cook up some spaghetti noodles to go with it.
