Brilliant Books

Girls Like Us by Cristina Alger

Girls Like Us is another audiobook that I’ve listened to and really enjoyed.

The story follows Nell Flynn, an FBI agent who has recently returned home to Long Island for her father’s funeral after 10 years away.

While home and putting her father’s affairs into order, Nell gets pulled into a local murder investigation which eventually turns into murders.

Now Nell finds herself working with her father’s co-workers (her dad was a police officer) to try and solve the murders of young women of colour, and the evidence begins pointing to someone Nell thought she knew.

Like I said in the beginning paragraph, I really enjoyed listening to this story and it’s definitely a good one if you’re searching for an audiobook.
