Brilliant Books

Honeybee by Trista Mateer

I’m trying to read more poetry as I really enjoy Amanda Lovelace’s works, so I am starting to branch out a bit more in this new-to-me genre. Honeybee is one of these collections that I just finished reading.

The poems of this collection focus on the author’s love, heartbreak and healing for a young woman, and I will include my favourite poems from the collection in this post. Hopefully reading them, you will be able to see why I loved them. So here for you, in no particular order, my favourites from Honeybee.
